蘭嶼國際工作營 : vol.5: Mission start!

Lanyu International Work Camp

23.06.2008 (Monday): Dear readers,
We just spent our first week end in Orchid Island,visiting the area and get familiar with our new environment.

這是我們在蘭嶼渡過的第一個星期，四處走走看看，認識新環境。

We do our best to recycle our own litter and show the right way to kids..


Actually kids often drop at our "living room", their library has been transformed in a shelter for us and they come to discuss with us, play or just have a look...


For our first day mission, we write our names on library wall so that kid can know us better and even let a message:







We have also to prepare the activities and discuss about the programm for the week: courses, games, cultural event etc...





We are divided in 3 groups and will divide cleaning work, cooking work and diary report work: the cleaningm cooking and diary report team change every day, we can not get bored by the task to do: clever!





The cooking team look efficient today!



In the afternoon, we discuss about the cultural dinner to prepare and what kind of food we could use. It's not that easy but actually we have to impress local people!
