出走,及回歸

當志工,憑的是一股熱忱;旅行,則讓家有了不同的意義。

在這兒,我們找到自己對志工旅行的想望,然後實踐。

台大肥皂箱宣傳

Tuesday was a very special day for VYA team, a new challenge was waiting for us...get student's attention during the lunch time at National Taiwan University Activities center (台大的活動中心). To tell the truth, it was not such an easy task but we did our best and just let them know more about international workcamp, or at least no to make them run away ^_^. We gave out VYA DM and expose pictures, movies about previous workcamps abroad (Nepal, Philippines etc..).

Actually, we found a technique to make the promotion smoother and friendlier...as a french, my duty was to cooking some specialities from my homeland. I decided to make french pancakes (Crêpes)

You can see on the picture i was kindly helped by an other french guy, a student who is studying at NTU. I appreciate it lot, make a perfect dough in half an hour is Impossible mission, but i am not but a volunteer, i am also a super hero and my cooking power was unlimited then! When the dough was OK, i began to cook up the Crêpes...hard job but nice performance! Curious students came, alone or with friends and asked me how i did it. Actually, it needs a bit time but it is not so difficult.
Eggs, milk, flour, powder sugar and... Let's go!

Look! I recruited some cooking volunteers!

How it looks when it is ready to be eaten...

Ium Ium...

Wow wow..even musicians came!

you can find a funny video which explain how to do this:

PS: i don't use spray and use a tissue to spread butter on the plate, i also use a dipper to pour dough on the stove it's easier!

This receipe is also useful during the workcamp and cultural parties! Everyone can enjoy, especially local kids :)
