出走,及回歸

當志工,憑的是一股熱忱;旅行,則讓家有了不同的意義。

在這兒,我們找到自己對志工旅行的想望,然後實踐。

海外志工領導人工作坊 0523-0524

A very interactive weekend!

Be a leader in a work camp, find your partners or create your own NPO is an ambitious project. To realize it, you need some special competences and knowledge that sometimes are difficult to find. Vision Youth Action organize a workshop with training for people (especially young people)who are interested in humanitarian projects.

What is the aim of these two days program? Just help everyone to define his/her goals, build a sustainable and reliable humanitarian project, with useful tools (thorough analysis).
Most of people who came are still students but want to prepare their future work life or at least get basic knowledge to give a direction to their thoughts/ideas and expectations.

At first, we presented briefly our structure to give our future leaders an idea about a NPO organization and our activities. The key point and first challenge was "how to build a dream team".

And you how will you do?

Argh! Ideas don't come easily...

But finally...

Interesting...

A trainee explains his point of view:

An other project explanation:

After the brainstorming, everyone can enjoy the tea time !

Step 2: Let's build a sustainable humanitarian project in 5mn!!! Simulation!!

Two different teams have to exchange basic information to cooperate: project aim, needs (accomodation, food, human and material resources..), project lenght etc...

Be careful you just have many seconds to send your message!!

30 seconds phone calls are authorized!

Emails, emails, emails...

After the lunch, we played a funny game...i don't remember exactly if this game has a name but it could be called "trusting game". How to play? Make a circle around someone, the, the person inside the circle has close the eyes, to relax and let the people push her/him from hand to hand.

If you fall down, you loose. Actually it look simple, but when you are in the middle, you can't help thinking others could let you fall down or don't easily push you because you are too heavy...

Are you an humanitarian worker? To be or not not to be...let's talk about the future with ...高小玲 (Doctor at Changhua hospital foundation)

What is the character of an humanitarian worker? Everone hold his pen!!

Nice job!

And now, imagine your own project with your team and do it CLEARLY ok?

What a "taiwanese" project ^_^

After these 2 days of intense exchanges, everyoen is rewarded!

The final message: 往前看!
